I recommend starting in the spring with seasonal maintenance and planting early-blooming perennials and annuals. To keep the garden vibrant mid-season, it’s important to add a second round of perennials. And finally, I always encourage clients to schedule a fall clean-up and get fall perennials in the ground to set the stage for next year.”
